Efficient Solutions for Transporting Heavy Components

2 minutes reading time

FLEXILITY CROCO HIGHLOAD load carriers are designed to handle extreme loads. Reinforcements in the corners ensure the necessary stability, especially for heavy components such as glass roofs and e-mobility components.

The Benefits at a Glance:

  • Reinforced corners and sections provide additional stability.
  • Ideal for heavy loads and high loads.
  • Flexible, precisely shaped mounts allow for adaptation to various requirements.
  • Easy handling and returnable container management without the need for a transfer container, such as a slatted rack, mesh box, or collapsible/foldable GLT.

FLEXILITY CROCO HIGHLOAD loading units consist of just three components—the box, the lid, and the pallet —and do not require stanchions or outer containers, such as mesh boxes or GLT containers. This makes handling particularly easy, even in automated systems, and significantly simplifies empty container management.

If you handle heavy components, such as extra-heavy batteries, the FLEXILITY CROCO HIGHLOAD loading unit is the ideal solution. It is specifically designed for high loads, offers very high load-bearing capacities, and adapts to your logistics needs, whether by road or rail.

Centering fixtures and FEURONIC’s zero-backlash technology precisely position the load carrier for automated handling.

The pallet is equipped with three or five runners to ensure maximum safety and stability. The pallet’s fully enclosed top and bottom decks reduce the accumulation of dirt and facilitate transport on conveyor belts.

Weighing approximately 4 kg and measuring 1200 x 800 mm, the FLEXILITY CROCO HIGHLOAD load carrier achieves a 10:1 load-to-weight ratio —meaning it can transport products ten times heavier than its own weight. This makes it not only extremely lightweight but also extremely efficient.

The FLEXILITY CROCO HIGHLOAD system also offers a complete solution for battery modules of various sizes and is available with an optional RFID tracker and ESD protection for all components.

Design to Recycling (D2R)

Overall, the FLEXILITY CROCO HIGHLOAD loading unit minimizes the use of packaging materials and thus helps reduce the carbon footprint. Furthermore, the single-material construction made of PP not only ensures optimal recyclability in accordance with EU regulations but also makes the pallet lighter than comparable steel pallets.

The FLEXILITY CROCO HIGHLOAD offers you versatile applications with various options such as

  • FLEXILITY STOCO: Plug-in or Assembled Compartments
  • FLEXILITY® TEXBAG®: Sewn compartments with hanging or standing pockets
  • FLEXILITY INLET: Precision-fit mounts for delicate, large components
