Food safe
FEURER thermoboxes comply with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. As well as the requirements of Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. As well as the German legislation of the Food, Consumer Goods and Feed Code. The KÄNGABOX® and the __Blackline thermoboxes can therefore be used safely for storing and transporting food. They may be in direct contact with dry, aqueous, acidic, non-alcoholic and non-fatty foodstuffs. We will be happy to provide you with appropriate declarations of compliance if required.
Cleaning
The thermo-containers can be cleaned in every common dishwasher, no matter whether household or industrial kitchen dishwashers. Maximum 15 minutes at a maximum of 80 °C. For cleaning, commercial cleaning agents suitable for PP can be used. After rinsing, the thermobox should be dried upright with an intermediate gap and at a slight angle. This ensures optimum drying.
Temperature resistant
The average temperature loss or increase is between 1 °C and 3 °C per hour. Provided that the thermobox is optimally filled.
Tightness
Our thermoboxes are subjected to regular quality checks. The water absorption of the raw material EPP can be up to 2%. We recommend using suitable GN containers with lids or bags for liquids.
Environmentally friendly
The insulated containers are 100% recyclable, CFC-free and HBCD-free.
